So I decided to make my own stuff completely from scratch to match as close as possible. My lips came out the worst, they have lost their luster, but that's my fault. I apologize to the moderators, I will never do that again. Hopefully now I'm following all the rules. This was a request by at least one person, and I think it came out pretty good. It is my favorite thing that I have made. As far as the content, obviously no new meshes. The hair, brows, shadow, eyes, mole, blush, lipstick and outfit are all made by me. I think the outfit is the best clothing item I've ever made. The skin and eyelashes are not included in the new file. DorisPepsi, you did a GREAT job! Although she's not vintage, she does look like some of the MOD Barbies from the 1970s, particularly a 1971 Malibu Barbie. Go to www.barbiecollector.com for some pictures and ideas.

If you could make a true vintage Barbie (family and friends), from 1959 to 1967, using the ponytail hair style, bubble-cut or side part hairstyle, I'd be first in line to download. AND, if you could make any of the vintage fashions, 800/900 series, OR my all-time favorite the 1600 series, I'd bow and kiss your feet and be eternally grateful! :D

I'm 32, I still collect them (occasionally) and I must admit, YOUR barbie looks MUCH better than the original barbie! I really believe it does! GREAT JOB! I never knew that was possible, to create such a wonder (and better) replica of barbie with a sim. :)
