Hi, I have the Sims 2,University and Nightlife all running on machine and recently the game has refused to load my custom neighbourhood. The loading screen itself seems fine, the music plays and the cursor turns..but after highlighting two of the columns in the background it won't load any more. The music continues to play and the cursor still turns but it doesn't get any further!I have to close my game using Ctrl-Alt-Delete.The Downtown and University areas of my game load fine, but if I try to load the main neighbourhood up from them it just loads whereever I was before(this is the same when trying to load my neighbourhood from the Maxis ones).
I have disabled all hacks and duplicate files apart from Maxis ones using the clean installer.

Please help!

Becky

Try loading the neighbourhood in debug mode. This will allow any error messages to be displayed. Enter debug mode by pressing control, shift and c and typing boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, and leave debug mode by typing boolprop testingcheatsenabled false. You should be able to see which lots, sims or downloads are causing the problem.

Okay, lets try one more thing. You say you disabled your hacks, let's go one better. Cut and paste your downloads folder to the desktop, this will completely eliminate the possibility of the problem being caused by them.
