I actually just found my game and played it yesterday. Now I have to go look for a patch for it crashing when my sims come home from downtown. >Then< I'll start skinning again. And thanks for your help!

I can totally relate... I just bought a house and moved in a few weeks ago. I made the mistake of buying Sims2 about a week after I moved in... so the unpacked boxes remain. LOL!
