So you don't have any custom content, this is a clean install, right? Did you install to the default directories, or did you do a custom install? Have you had the game working correctly on your computer before, or is this the first time you've installed the Sims2?

The Sims 2 itself, works fine, but when I install the Uvn, it misses up UVn and Sims 2, so I have to reinstall
how do I fix this?

Does your computer meet the minimum requirements for the game? Try upgrading your graphics drivers. Also, make sure you don't have any custom content in there that isn't compatible with your game... NL hacks, for example.

yeah, but when it goes to the loading screen after the little cutsence, then it just stops at the loading screen and then I have to put Ctrl-Alt-delete to get out of it and then I try to play it again and then a little massage comes up that says nothing on it,but has an x in it, I guess meaning that it's not going to work

Your last option is to do a clean install, that means to delete the registry entries as well.

After you've installed Uni, get the Maxis patch for Uni and apply it too.

I got the patch for it, but that didn't help
and everytime Unv misses up, it misses up The Sims 2, too.
I do not know what to do

Did you do a clean install first?
