help me please

I know this post shouldnt go in this forum but I diddnt know anywhere else to put it. Does anyone know where you should put your downloaded house at? I know alot of times it goes in the Sims 2/ downloads part but all the houses I put there doesnt show up in the game. Is there somewhere else you can put your downloaded houses at?

I was wondering the same hing. Ive downloaded 2 houses and one would show in the houses cataloge but when I clicked it my game would crash. Anyone like to help us out here?

You do put downloaded houses into Downloads folder in your Sims directory. Different thing with houses from objects etc. is that you have to install them. When you download the house you need to double-click the house file and it will install into the appropriate place (all you need to do is double-click it to open the install menu and then click install). Amber, the reason your houses crash might be that they are made with expansion packs you do not own (just a guess).

When you accidentally install a house that was made with Nightlife, it will definitely make your game crash if you don't have it. You probably won't even be able to delete it from the house bin because you can't click on it.
