Hey there,
In case you have missed the site announcement (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=114533) a couple weeks back, please take the time to read it and get familiar with Q-Xpress (http://q-xpress.modthesims2.com) - THE DOWNLOAD TOOL exclusive for Mod the Sims 2 members.
No more worries about .rar or .zip files and what programs to use for either because Q-Xpress is the only thing you will ever need!!! Thank Delphy for that for whipping up this awesome program!
If you have questions about the tool or need help installing it or troubleshooting a problem when running it, DO NOT post your questions here. There is a dedicated forum just for Q-Xpress and you can find it here (http://www.modthesims2.com/forumdisplay.php?f=442).
This should forever the end the debate of what to do with .zips or .rars. Finally!
