Mod The Sims - Really Need Help

I just bought the Sims2 Universiy, everything installs perfectly but when I go to play it tells me to insert the original Sims2 disk when I did that I was just playing the Sims2, I have all the requirements can someone please help!

It sounds like your clicking on the shortcut for the original game instead of the one for Uni.

MissLolaB, are you on a mac or PC? You've posted on both forums, I replied on the other for PC. If you're on a mac then try entering your applications folder and clicking on the sims2 uni icon instead of the icon for the base game.

It should have prompted you to insert disk 4 of the original game when you installed uni. Try doing that when you get the prompt again and see what happens.
