Stuck plate

I had a party and one of the plates got stuck, or rather like someone will eat from it, you couldn't select it, though no one did. The party ended and the plate remained that way. Moveobjects on does not work, it won't delete the plate. Now it is spoiled, attracting bugs etc, and I just can't delete the stupid thing. Help!

Can you try using moveobjects on the counter or table that the plate is sitting on and delete it that way?

Unfortunately not. I found that here as a solution to a non-disappearing homework but for some reason it won't work. Very strange, but the plate is left hanging in the air! Is there another way to delete objects or do I have to move them out of the house? I am sure that will do it, I am just trying not to go to such drastic measures.

Enable testingcheats and force an error on it. Then in the error box click on delete.
