Im new and..I dont no what to do!

Im new and I dont no what to do..see I wanted to download some new foods And I fould somthing I liked it is called Falafel Meal for Lunch and Dinner and I clicked download then somthing poped up and said Open are save and quit I clicked open..then it loaded then a nother pop up thing came up and I clicked on the lette Icon and I thought it was going to say install to game but it said

Please double-click a custom content package file to install the content!

WHat does that mean?? ever time I try to download stuff from otehr sites it says that! but when i DOWNLOAD from sims 2.com It SAYS INSTALL TO game and it dose! But way dose it say that when I try to download stuff from other sites please help please! I have been trying to download stuff from other sites for so long! and it would be a real big thing to me if you helped! thanks so much! and :sorry: if I spelled stuff worng..

I'm pretty sure this is the wrong place to post this but I'll help you anyway :)

When you click something to download it chose "Save as".
Save the file somewhere where you can find it again (I have a folder downloads on my desktop).
Then unzip or Unwinrar the file.
Next move the unzipped file to your download folder in the game (C:\My documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads) if you don't have a downloads folder you need to make it.

Next time you start the game it should show up.
This works for all the object files.

When it's clothing, after unzipping, dubble click on the unzipped file and it should install itself in your game.

thanks..but..um can I save it like in the sims 2 flies? I dont reallu no what unzip is..Um can someone send me a email so U can tell me..About the unzip thing thanks!

unzip = decompress a zip file

Please read the thread I linked to. There are links there to get programs to decompress Zips and Rars, and there is also a link to a tutorial showing you how to do it. If people would read the FAQs properly, they would soon find out that they can do these things for themselves instead of having to ask.
