ok, this has happened to me twice already. I tell the parent to take the kid to the potty and when they set the kid on it, they freeze. The parent can't leave the child, so they stand there waiting, but never die. Is there a way I can fix this without having to restart the family?

Move your downloads folder to the desktop, and try again.

Hi, I have the very same prob toddler on potty, adult training, the two of them stuck there... above suggestion didn't work, I have very few downloads at the moment anyway.

Sadly I saved my game before noticing so I can't just go back... I have thought about trying to invite them around someone else's, perhaps prosing to move in and even moving the family out... not tried any of those things yet though.

You can try moving the family out and back in, you also can try to delete the sims with "move objects on", safe and exit the lot and go back in. This can help as well.

Of course, always try SimSamples solution first, because it may be a bad hack...
