What should I do to prepare to upload?

Hello, first of all :sorry: I should know this; I really should, and I looked in a bunch of places looking for the answer but... I just can't find exacally what I need.
I uploaded a hairstyle this morning that I was mighty proud of. I made it into a .rar from the projects folder and thought it was ok. I was wrong. It came to my attention that the file did not work and he informed me it was probably because it came from the projects folder and should come from the downloads folder.

Fair Enough.

So after I got home from work I went searching for my new creation in downloads and I cannot seem to find it! I tried doing a search under its name (same name I used in projects) did not work. Then I tred putting it back into body shop, renaming it and doing the same; still could not find it.

Would somebody be kind enough to point me in the right direction to get everything up properly?

It will most likely appear in the saved sims folder. The easiest way to find your creation is to temporarily move everything out of your saved sims folder, then import the hair to the game again with Bodyshop. Go to the saved sims folder and the files you need will be the only files there. Hope this helps!
