I'm trying to work on a young adult mesh but I can only find the adult versions of the files instead. I thought I could use them but when I finished and look at it in bodyshop, nothing has changed. :/ What am I doing wrong? Are there any young adult meshes?

Young adults and adults are the same size, so they'll share a mesh. :)

I am almost certain (I don't have uni) that young adult and adult meshes are exactly the same size/skeleton. I don't know how maxis named the meshes.
A clothing recolor can be for both adult and ya if the age is set correctly in the exported file. (there's a tutorial for that in the bodyshop/skinning area)
But when you say it did not change - did you look at your project, or did you look for the recolor in create a new project? Seems more likely all the standard questions would apply - did you write your new meshfile to your downloads folder, did you put the modified shape and cres into the recolor in *saved sims* not in your projects folder....
You can always make yet another recolor (maybe even change the color on part of it so that you can tell it apart from the others) and attach the modified shape and cres to it.

If you want YAs to be able to wear it just change the age data.
40 - YAs
08 - Adults
48 - Both

Ah~ When I was extracting the turtleneck mesh I noticed a ymturtleneckmod in the property set which confused me. @_@; I try extracting a different one that had a 'am' in the begaining and now everything is appearing way it should me. Thank you all! :3
