Hi,

I want to have my Sims barefoot - but if I only remove the alpha in the textures then the feet are bare but the shape is like the shoes. How can I remove the shoes easy from each Sim?

Easily? You can't. You need new body shapes (meshes) with bare feet.
Feet that have sandals will look close to being bare, but many of the shoe shapes will look quite wrong.
You'd need to learn how to modify body meshes.

Does anyone have barefoot sims?

Flat sandals and bare feet are almost identical shape in the game. Alpha off the sandals and they will look like bare feet.

'Where can I find' is located in the Sims 2 Community forums.

And if you wanted to request a couple specific outfits to be meshed to have bare feet, we have a requests forum here on site. Click on requests and read all instructions there.

I think that something that would contribute to anyone who wants to try this is making it with a controller method. I personally don't know how controllers work. I do know that they require more than one mesh to one GMDC file. I think the controller chooses which one to use when we click on a sim or a sub-menu.

Rsim, sims body meshes do not split at any point around the feet. You would still have to have identical meshes with various shoes or not on them. The game doesn't know what is a 'shoe' or not.
