MAC-OMG help blurry CC!

A lot of the custom content I upload isn't clear at all, particularly in CAS mode! For example, I got a freckled skintone, and the freckles don't show!And I got a belly button ring skin, and no jewelry! Also, I get some nice makeup from Parsimonous, and most the detail is all blurred.For instance, I got a nice, detailed eyeliner with a lot of delicate lashed, and it oly shows up as a black blur. Or take the lip color with hundreds of tiny color dots, created like graphic pointalism. All those little dots are literally mixed into the color they make up and you can't really see them. This doesn't happen with ALL CC, but it does with a lot. HELP!\

P.S. I forgot to mention that I turn up detail and it doesn't help. At least not in CAS, which is where I've checked.

Sounds like you have the detail turned down low... go to the options->graphics menu in the game and set the detail a little higher

maybe the screen resolution? mine is set for 1024 x 768 and I get real good detail... also maybe the problem is with certain package files... i notice that some creators try to keep file size down by lowering the resolution of the textures in the actual package file... do the default maxis objects and clothing blurry as well? I have also noticed that cas and bodyshop render (draw to the screen) stuff a tiny bit differently than the game does... try looking at an actual lot and see if theres any difference..
