where can I find C. Delphy's SimPE OBJ Extrator?

Ok, I've searched like an idiot, and I still can't seem to find it, any help please?
what I've found is a link that points to http://forums.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=32166 , but there's no thread there :/
where can I find it?

it's built into Simpe now. available at http://sims.ambertation.de
It on the GMDC file.

When you click on a GMDC file in SimPE in the plugin view you'll see the option to extract it

I have the latest version of SimPE, but I still don't see how to do it. there is no option to save as *.obj when I try to extract the gmdc, only *.simpe, *.5an, *.bmp, *.5cr, *.fx and *.5gd

You dont right click on the gmdc to extract it if you want it in obj, you just left click on the gmdc your after in the type window next to resource tree, then make sure your in the plugin view underneath, and they'll be a button that says 'Export'. you just click on that

If that still doesn't help, try looking at the beginning body meshing tutorial for Meshtool/OBJ. There's screenshots and everything.

I've had a look at that tut, but my simPE doesn't really look like that. I simply can't find any export button.

uhm.. this whole thing makes me feel like such a noob XP I'm usually quite skilled with computers, but this stuff with 3d and things is just... yeah. I gotta start somewhere tho to get better XD

are you absolutely sure you've got the latest full version? cos that one looks old.. the newest one is 0.58.1.29278

the one I've got is 0.58.1.29297
but I have a quite old OS tho, Windows 2000 server edition, 'cause we use this ol' fella as a webserver as well

Hmm, does look odd indeed. Meshing and all the associated programs are complicated, don't feel like a NOOB, you're just new :)
Please go to the simpe site. Also please make sure you have all the associated files - there's like a certain level of direct x needed and so on. Maybe something is missing that is causing your simpe to show up that way.

okay, it seems like it's got something to do with the direct x...
I think I'll simply re-install everything and try again.

You also need the latest update of Net Framework -

This is probably not included on older versions of Windows.

Look on the SimPE site to see what version is required - there is also a download link for it on the SimPE site.

I managed get it working ^^
it was the direct x that was messed up.

not that I really managed to make anything decent in milkshape, and I think I messed up when I imported it back, but hell, practice makes perfect XD
