A few days ago, I started to notice that a few of my sims' thumbnails became dark from the neck down, like this one:

It not only appears in thumbnails, but also in the "change appearance" mirror option, as well as when planning outfits or buying clothes. Is it something I downloaded? I recently added a few of Squinge's hacks into my game, but I don't see why they would affect thumbnail images. I also have GunMod's fantastic "Radiance" lighting, but I downloaded that about a month ago, so that doesn't seem like it would apply. Does anyone know what caused this and what I can do to fix it? Thank you so much!

What did you do before this started happening?

An easy way to see if this is caused by something you downloaded is to cut and paste your downloads folder to the desktop, and then enter the game. Make a sim change appearance in the mirror to refresh the thumbnail- is it still black? Enter without saving and put your downloads back. If it worked, you probably need to replace the objects.package file (that's the first thing I'd try). If it didn't work, then you know that something you downloaded is to blame and you need to sort through your downloads.

Thanks, I used your 50% method, and found the problem files. It turned out out be Anshin Lanugo's default replacement skins from MTS2.

Well done, nice find. I'd like to point out that just because these files caused problems in your game, it doesn't mean that they will on everyone's game. It may have been dependant on your system or other mods you have.
