Townies have all Interests=0

Since installing OFB, my Townies (and Downtownies, but NOT NPCs like the Maid, Gardener...) have all of their Interests (health, work, animals...) reduced to 0; needless to say, it makes it awful hard to make new friends!

I have tried boosting them with magazines, the boolProp TestingCheats... cheat, SimPE; they always go back to 0. The problem seems to be when they are put in the ''townie bin''; I used Inge's teleporter shrub to make some of my Sims into Townies, and they keep their Interests points as long as they stay in the Lot. But if I clear them out of the lot and bring them back again, they lose them.

I have Uni, NL and OFB, with both of OFB's patches (but none of the other ones). I don't have FFS. And, yes, I tried re-installing the game (quite a few times!) without any downloaded stuff; same result. I followed all FAQs about a clean install & all (thanks for those, BTW). After uninstalling OFB, everything reverts to normal.

Besides fixing this bug, if anyone has an idea about a hack that would, I don't know, randomize Interests for Sims on a given lot or something like that, drop me a line. The game is unplayable like this (since my Sims can't make friends with Townies by talking), and I had to delete OFB, which I bought fair and square.

Let me check if my custom townies have any interests next time I open the game.

I also made a complete custom neigbourhood with all custom townies, and I'd like to see a tool for completely randomizing their skills, interests, personallities and especially talent badges. I've had to train all my employees from scratch.

Edit: My custom townies seem to have a random and healthy balance of interests (I only checked a few random ones). I also used Inge's Shrub to make them townies.
