Why is this not working?

Ok, I'm having a problem importing a new mesh. When I import the mesh, (chosing replace) it will always add a new group instead of replacing another one, so I end up with a shelf with 2 actual shelves in it. What could be causing this, I think I followed the tutorial exactly (the one for blender object creation).

Is the name of the subset exactly the same as that of the original? The names have to be identical for the replacing to work, otherwise it'll just add an extra subset.

Also make sure to only tick the boxes of the meshes you plan on replacing with your imported file.
