Weird lines that make things invisible

While building a house, I started getting weird lines in my game that make objects invisible underneath them.For example, if it is over a car, I can still see the driveway, but not the car. The driveway is distorted, but it's there. If I rotate the camera to a differnt angle, they go away. I don't believe that it has anything to do with my downloaded content, because I have used it all before with no problem. My husband says I may have fried my video card. The lines don't cover the whole screen, just parts of it.

I had that kind of glitch once too. It was caused by having an un-initialized (non-running) servo on the lot. Do you have any unactivated servos on the lot?
