Hi!

I've been recoloring with SimPE for quite some time and now I want to start cloning and creating my own objects but I don't know where to start. I've looked at various tutorials and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I keep hearing about Milkshape and Wings 3D...and I think something about UV Mapping too. What is all this? Can someone suggest a program to get (like Milkshape or something) that will work with SimPE and is fairly easy for begginers? I would appreciate it so much! Thanks!

well, as the tutorials state- Milkshape 3D is a good 3D graphics program to start with, and something like UV Mapper or Lithunwrap if you find the Milkshape UV mapping to restricted.

To me, milkshape 3d and uv mapper are the easiet to use for begginers. You can get milkshape 3d here for a free trial, http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/ms3d/download.html and uv mapper here, http://www.uvmapper.com/downloads.html . Most tutorials use these programs to show you how to make objects, although there are many others, I think these are the most common and easiet. :)

Well, each 3d Graphics program is slightly different, and you may find one easy to work with over another. But in general, no, 3D designing isn't easy.
