downloaded hair and cloths arased?

I'm having a problem, last night I played my game and everthing was fine, but this morning I wen't into bodyshop and I noticed that all my downloads were gone! all of my costume sims, hair, cloths, skins, eyes etc. were gone! I wen't into my game and it was still gone, but all of my downloaded items are still there, and that my sims are still wearing all the downloaded content that is not showing up , but when I "change apperance" my sim loses all there costume stuff and the same with the outfits there all gone!, my items were unaffected so I have no idea what happend! I have so much cool stuff that I'd hate to lose it all.

Go into your Downloads folder (or SavedSims if you have your sim-related content in there). Are your files still intact? Try scanning with Clean Installer, see that you can see file types and thumbnails.

Did you install anything new, like patches, programs, new EPs, etc.?

yeah, since the problem started I downloaded Camunzip "not from the offical website" so I could unzip some things I liked, I downloaded A hair style from Guppy sims, An oufit from Sussie so good sims and a mesh from here, a skirt with high heels mesh. all my files are still there, I haven't lost enything in my dowloads folder or saved sims folder the files seem to still be there.

Huh. Well, just for the sake of testing, open up your Downloads folder and move out the most recent stuff you've added (sort by date and cut and paste those files to a temporary folder on your desktop). See if that helps any.

Otherwise, I'd probably take out all downloads temporarily, and just put back something that is 100% "safe" like, say, eyes, lipstick, etc., something that requires no meshes that you know for sure works. See if you can get a couple of "safe" single items working.

Try the Body Shop trick, moving things to SavedSims, etc., see if any of that helps.

Are your objects/walls/etc., okay? This is just Body Shop content, right?

Okay maybe I should try and move things to my saved sims folder, but things that are in there dont seem to be working ether, and yes its just the bodyshop stuff, everthing else is fine, I moved all my downlaods to my desktop and played my game but its very strange when I played it everthing in my saved sims folder was there exept my bodyshop stuff. I can try to move things back slowly and remove everthing I downloaded that day. how do you find the files that you downloaded in the past day? thanks for your help But I dont know If I can fix It :(

You can use Windows to sort files in date order, that should help you.

okay thank you, I noticed that I never had a Collections folder, my computer says it was created on the day my probelm started. also somthing called costum collections was also created on the same day and is in my Collections folder . I moved my downloads to my desktop and put a few safe things back in my game, but they still didn't show up, so I'm a little confused.

If you download a clothing item from this site (with mesh if needed) and unzip it, then put it in your saved sims folder (no subfolder), does it show up?
