Family Fun Stuff Interfers

I just barely got off my lazy bum and bought "Family Fun Stuff" (whoot, right?). So I install it and happily jump on and... where did my files go? Oddly, after I plugged in the expansion, much of my custom content just vanished. Poof. Gone. It's still in my "downloads" folder - just no longer visible in the game.

Why is this occuring and is there anything (besides uninstalling) that I can do to fix this?

Please don't just scroll past that stuff - it's there to help you, not just to exercise your use of the scroll wheel on your mouse.

You read it... but did you TRY any of the fixes listed there, like, oh, the Body Shop trick, that says there "you've just installed a new EP and your content has stopped working, do this..."? ... or the info on enabling content... Seriously, hon, that's a pretty comprehensive FAQ with pretty much every fix us techybrains know about. TRY some of the stuff there. ;)

I'm not such a clutz that I'm going to harass you guys before trying things - I understand how hard moderators and members of the like work to make Sims 2 the awsomness that it is.

Guess I'll just do what I did with Sims 1 and all my other games... make a back up on a thumb drive and screw around with things until it starts working. :lol:
