I have downloaded many great makeup, and in the game, for an example, if I put on my new eyelashes to the girl, she will look like somebody punched her in the face. Awful effects!! That is happening with everything - even with the makeup which came with the game. Help me! My graphics are the highest level, but the makeup is still blurry. Everybody looks stupid with their makeup, couse it looks like a joke.

I am having that same problem! I think it's because you have a bad graphic card or you have low RAM/memory.

What is your graphics card and how much RAM do you have?

My Graphics card is Ati Radeon 9200 SE AGP.
How do you check your RAM?

Your card should give better results than this- try updating your graphics drivers:

Is that video memory or computer memory.
If you have 256MB ram on the computer that's the absolute minimum for running the base game.

That card did come in a 256 as well:

It's better than my card so you should get clear images!

I have just installed Ati Catalist Control Center and restarted my computer. I am going to try the sims 2 later and tell you if everything is ok.

The game is in it's same condition!!!!! It's only a lil bit faster, but the makeup is still rubbish.

Maybe you just need to adjust the settings, of quality...such as texture & object detail.

Hm. I will try that bambibaby. Do you mean settings in the game or the card settings? I will adjust ones in the game. I will tell you later.
btw, how do you put screenshots? I would like to show you how does it look like.

My graphics for Open For Business are the same way, and yet I fixed the Graphics Rules settings from this: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=147242
Yet, everything is blurring!

Did you install the driver for your card aswell ,or did you only install the control center ?

I have installed the control center and some kind of an encoder...

I went ahead and took a look at ATI's page.
The newest driver from ATI doesn't support your card.If you have installed Catalyst 6.7 ,you should uninstall it and install the catalyst 6.5 driver for your card instead. You can find it here [URL=http://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&questionID=22264[/URL]

I am not actually sure. I have installed a file with a control center, and a file named encoder.

I've been touching and messing around the settings, and when I restarted the game, it was not blurry anymore!!!!! :D :D :D i don't know what i have done, but I did something well. The game is much slower this way, but it is not important to me so much. :luff:
Thank you very much!!!!!
