View Full Version : Problem Showerproofing a Whole Body Mesh

I've been trying to showerproof a custom body that has only a whole body mesh (Martaxl's BBW). I used Milkshape to create a "top" and "bottom" mesh then linked a skintone. When I tested my Sim she came out with the right shape but green and wearing a swimmie. (Yeah, I'm a total neophyte at this stuff.) So, I compared my mesh with ones that actually work and they all had something like "aftopnaked_nude..." in the SHPE>parts tab, for instance, whereas mine was still referencing a swimsuit. So, my question is: How'd they DO that? Martaxl got the same result as me when she tried. I'm just doing the leg work for her.
I've looked, but haven't found a tutorial dealing with this specifically.

Edit: OK, after further R & D I've identified my problem (I think). It seems I need to replace the material definition. All the tutorials I've seen instruct me to add a MATD or texture in the 3IDR. But since I'm using a custom mesh (with the creator's permission) there is no 3IDR in the resource tree. I'm stumped. Help!

Edit 2: Here are those files for you perusal, Melodie. Thanks so, so, SO much for helping me out! Their names are pretty much self explanitory.

General notice: These files are not uploaded for sharing. They are only for a more experienced modder to help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Once they work and I have the skintone creator's permission, I'll share with the public. 'K?
