Outfits showing in Body Shop but not in Clothing Racks in the game

I downloaded some "muscle" bodies and outfits from here and put them in my Downloads folder and then went to Body Shop and they all showed up just fine and I could create brand new Sims using these bodies and outfits.

But later I noticed while in the game itself if I send a Sim to a Community lot with a clothes rack they can't find these same outfits to purchase.

Shouldn't all the same bodies show up in the Clothing Rack that you can access in Body Shop? I thought all your skins were located in your Downloads folder and all the programs accessed the files from there?

Yes- they should show up just fine. Are you looking in the correct age group when shopping?

On further investigation I find that these "body meshes" are specifically designed for creating sims in CAS. For modifying existing sims with these specific outfits complicated editing is required with SimPE.

Ahh, that explains it. For future information- could you post me a link to these meshes please? I haven't come accross these particular ones.

Some amazing stuff. I think Maxis should hire this person and have them work on developing Sims 3 cause they have some great ideas.
They (I'm not sure if it's a man or a woman but since it's warlokk I'll guess its a guy) created an entire line of body meshes for everything from an A-cup female to DD as well as a complete line of bottoms as well so you can mix and match any combination and then link this same body shape to each type of clothing so the sim will retain their unique shape thru almost every stage of life including bathing and swimming and bed...I'm not sure how the pregnancy stage affects the skins yet.

I wish the game would pass along these shapes genetically to their children but I don't think they were able to accomplish that trick (yet). LOL
