HELP! Can't build or remodeling the House

Hello everyone, I am new here and this is my first time play The Sims 2. I have problem with the building House. I cant place the floor, foundation or door. When i click on the foundation and nothing happend. I need HLEP with that please. Thank you

Another problem i have is when i want to change the door, window or wallpaper on the House that already built, it won't let me change. i cant click on the door even when i on the "Build mode". So please someone help me......

Hello jona, first, welcome !
To place foundation :- select the type you want then click n drag the mouse to the oposite corner of the square you want to build.
- to erase a foundation it is better if it is empty ! then control + clk n drag mouse to select the area you want to erase. If dont work the 1st time it wil do it the 2nd (small bug)
- to remove an object 2 ways : select the same kind of object, hod ctrl then click.
2nd the more usual : take hand tool take the object then supr.

Read the user guide, in the french one it is on page #36 ! It is not a joke, it is well done to start ! And create an empty test lot where you will not obstructed by existing things.

As for the changing the window, If you meant changing removing the window, patul has already stated.
But if you mean to get another window design, click the design tool button which is located: in-between the "right rotation button" and the "day/night" button in terms of the base game.

Anyway, what game version(s) have you?
