I have a Sim in game that I have been playing with for a while. The Sim is based on a character that has an identical twin, which I would also like in the game. I am trying to create a second Sim with this first Sim's exact appearance, but with a different name/personality/aspiration. I noticed that when creating Sims, one can choose an already existing Sim from a Sim Bin. Where is it located on my computer, and is there any way that I can copy the original Sim's file into this bin so that I can use it to create the twin?

I have only expanded as far as University, though I will likely be upgrading to Nightlife within the next 2 days or so.

Thank you for your help.

Alright... I think I can help. You should go look at this tutorial here (http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=94489). Extract the sim you want to duplicate and you can put that sim in game again.

How do I then place that Sim back IN the game? Will this harm their family/friend connections?

Ok, I took a Sim I don't particularly care about and used her as a test Sim for the procedure. I am having a problem with the Sim showing up in my BodyShop, and I noticed something strange:

There are 7 sims in my BodyShop, but only 3 Sims in my Saved Sims folder, and many more than 7 Sim files in my Downloads folder. So BodyShop is not pulling from other one of those. Where on Earth could it be pulling from?

Are you sure that they are sim files? Have you looked at the package contents in SimPE? Sometimes meshes can appear similar to sims by filename, or with the clean Installer.
