Changing Genders to just one Gender

Ive already looked at the FAQ post and it talked about how you can change clothes from boy to girl or girl to boy. But how do you change an outfit thats under both to just one or the other. I was wandering because I doing some onesie recolors from the new onesie mesh here at MTS2, and want them only under one gender. Thanks so much

2 for male, 1 for female, 3 for both.

As it says in the thread there "The heart and kitty outfits are just available for girls; the rest are for boys and girls" so you can look at the settings on 'em and see how they're done.

Thanks for answering I thought no one would. I change it from three to two and re-imported with body shop and it still showed up under both. And I followed that tutorial exact and pressed commit&save so I don't know why it didn't change. Anyway my pjs for kids have already been uploaded at sims 2 for simscorner. It's just the boys pjs& tot onesies that show up under both. And I already sent the onesies for next weeks upload. But thanks for answering.
