Tiny Packaging Question

I might just be real bad at searching, but I can't find this anywhere, and I've never uploaded one of my sims before, so here goes: When I package a sim for uploading, does any custom content I used get included automatically?

Just want to make sure...

if the sim you want to upload is in a .sims2package file (which you will have to zip or rar as uploading .sim2package files alone is no longer allowed), then it should include any CC that it has like the hair color, eye color, makeup, clothes, etc. What wont be included would be meshes (unless the mesh is somehow added to the hair/clothes recolor package)

If you package the sim from your saved sims folder (in this case you would be zipping or raring a .package file instead of a sims2package) then only the sim will be packaged without any CC included, only a default maxis hair and outfit. Im not 100% sure on it but im pretty sure ive seen its like that...

Also, remamber to check that you are allowed to redistribute the CC your sims have, you dont want any trouble with other sites :) :P
