Problems with maxis content

Since I installed pets my sims will not use the phone. I click on the phone and try all options, but the phone thumbnail just disappears and they will not answer the phone either. I do have a lot of custom content, but I have never had a problem until now. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :cry:

If you have any hacks/mods, something is most likely conflicting. Try your game with your entire Downloads folder removed. http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=139718
