Okay so I can get into bodyshop just fine and the first couple of pages of sims in my sim bin are fine but around the third page one of the last sims that tries to load crashes the game. I deleted a few sims prior to the sim in question just to see if it still crashes at the point when that same next sim should be loading and it does. Thing is I am trying to cull my sim bin and having the stupid thing crash is making it difficult to do so. Is there another way to access sims in the bodyshop sim bin in order to delete the problem sim? I do not know if the sim in question is male or female or even what age it is because the thumbnail has no chance to show up before the crash. I would really just like to get this dealt with so I can continue my culling. It is more annoying than anything since it does not prevent me from accessing the seperate content or building a new sim. However I have quite a few sims in that bin and I really want to get rid of most of them which I cannot do until I can get past the one that is crashing the program.

Can you do it in "create a sim"? (in the game I mean)
Edit. You could find it in "clean installer" it should be RED.

Interesting suggestion however I do not know how to access the bodyshop sims bin with clean installer. My downloads folder doesn't show sims...at least as far as I have ever been able to tell it doesnt. If it does they are not shown iin any way that makes them recognisable to me as sims.

Sims usually show up as being a string of letters and numbers- unless the creator renamed them (or you did). With the clean Installer they should show up with the 'type' category blank, and there will be no visible thumbnail (they probably won't be red!). Perhaps you could narrow the search down by removing all of the files that you know are not the sim in question, and then using the 50% method on the rest- when bodyshop stops crashing you know you've found it!

OHHHHH! thats what those are? I had wondered what the files that looked like that were especially since they don't have thumbnails. Well unfortunately the list of ones I know it is not is pretty short compared to the list of unknowns. I am going to go into the game and go into CAS and try each age and sex bin see if it crashes in any of those. If it does then at least I can narrow it down to and age group and sex and maybe even by quite a bit within that category(unfortunately all my bins are fuller than I would like right now because of a rash of sim downloads and i have not been deleting them like I should). However how do I figure out which string of numbers and letters corresponds to which sims? Am I correct in assuming that each sex and age group probably has something to designate at least that much within that string of numbers and letters? Beyond that how do I figure out for sure which sim is which when there are no thumbnails and no really easy way to tell based on the numbers. SimPe does not as yet have an update for Pets unless that has changed since earlier today. In that I know I could look through the sims and see that string of numbers and letters with its corresponding sim but I am not sure how well the program will run and read my files since I am running pets.
I appreciate all the help by the way.

It's probably not possible to find out which code refers to which sim just by trying to spot a pattern- you'd be better off just eliminating them by the 50% method. Just put half of them in, start Bodyshop and see if the problem is still there. Then you've eliminated half! That way you can probably find the bad file with ease. Maybe someone with a good understanding of bodyshop will be able to explain how the codes are generated.
