View Full Version : Neighborhood View Within Sim Lot

Hello all, I have a question pertaining to viewing objects (ie. other houses across the street or next door, stop signs etc) in the neighborhood while inside my Sim's lot. How do I do this? I have seen screenshots where the player is in the Sims's lot and one can see almost everything, with great detail, that is in the neighborhood.

Notice the background in these images?

Usually when I take screenshots of my game, I cant see anything else in the neighborhood when I am in my Sim's lot

I have tried boolProp cheat codes for the neighborhood yet nothing seems to work. I have only the basegame installed.

Can anyone help me?

In game go to options, there is an option to see neighbors.

NightLife is required for that option to appear.

Wait.. can you clarify which "options" I need to go to? For example, "Game Play" or "Graphics/Performance" etc...

Although I do have OFB, is that option availliable in OFB?

I think it is available for any game above University.

And you would be correct! I appreciate everyone's help. I reinstalled Open for Business (due to some technical difficulties I had uninstalled everything but the base game). "Neighbors" under "Game Options" is availiable with OFB. I clicked "on" and was able to view other houses from my lot

I believe (as I had a base and ofb only game for a bit) that the option to see the other lots around your home started with nightlife, and is available with any ep after nightlife.
