No Snow or other on lots in hood

When I place a house with snow as the terrain or even dirt it doen't show as snow. It only shows as green grass. Any thoughts what I have done. Thanks

If you place a lot made on a dirt terrain into a neighbourhood which is lush (grass) terrain then the lot will change to suit the neighbourhood it is in. You have to alter individual lots using terrain paints.

I do change the lot with the terrain paint. When i am in the lot it is snow but when I go back to the hood it all green.

Well this would depend on your graphics card, graphics drivers and the terrain paint itself. I noticed that some terrain paints show up fine in NH view, whereas others are not shown at all and some look nothing like the lot view! The only thing I could suggest is to try making a different snowy terrain paint using Homecrafter Plus, or to upgrade your graphics drivers to see if that makes a difference.
