Did you remember to get a new GUID(s)?

HOW DO I DO THAT?! I never heard of this before. Probably because I had to sorta figure out how to make objects myself, because the tutorial rar files say there corrupted.

You never registered the GUIDs for your objects?! Please, do it as soon as possible! The users that install you objects will have problem in their games, otherwise.

Here is what to do:

A) Before you start registering GUIDs, you must create a personal account in the GUID repository (http://sims.ambertation.de/en/guiddb/) at SimPE site.

B) Once you have registered your login & password at the GUID repository, you can start editing your packages.

B1) Open the package in SimPE and select the Object Data (OBJD)
B2) Click on the "Get GUID" link
B3) In the window that opens up, fill in your login & password
B4) Click "Register Object": the new GUID will be registered and automatically placed in the Object Data
B5) Back in the Object Data, click on the button "Update MMATs and commit"; DO NOT tick the checkbox labeled "Update all MMATs"
B6) Commit and save

Repeat the steps B1--B6 for ALL the Object Data's in the package, and then go on to the next package.
Of course, you don't have to register yourself to the GUID repository each time :)

When finished, upload the new versions to your threads, replacing the old ones; and be sure to alert the users to redownload the new packages!

Thankyou so much numenor. I had never heard of this because all of the downloadable tutorials were corrupted when I downloaded them.

I'll put all my items in a big upload for redownloading once I correct them all.
