Question About Monique's Computer

I have tried to pm Monique about this but haven't received an answer. I have all EP's and stuff packs except the holiday. Since pets the computer now automatically sends all your kids to private school, I don't see a way to turn that off. It also charges fees for private school, there is a way to choose to turn this off but it doesn't stay off. The auto move to college also won't stay off. I turn it off and ten minutes later it is back on in the same house. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I make it stay off and how can I stop sending :) my kids to private school? Help is appreciated. I hope I have posted this in the right place. I am not a regular forum user any where and all of your warnings and rules has me a bit un-nerved.

I also have Monique’s computer and all the EP’s. Your problem was noted in a post in Monique’s thread, and I also found these features annoying. So Monique updated the computer to set the default state of these features to be OFF. I downloaded the updated version of the computer, and I no longer have any of theses problems.

Therefore I suggest that you download the latest version of Monique’s computer, and make sure that all of the old files are deleted or over-written.

When you install a new EP/SP, always check wherever you downloaded your hacks from to see if they've been deemed compatible or need to be updated. Until you have the updated version or have been told that it's compatible, you should remove all of your mods/hacked objects. http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=91094

Thank you very much Maxine. I did download her up date when she said it was compatable with pets. I didn't realize there had been another update. Great!
julianarosalia, thanks also, I really appreciate your answering my question. I do remove all hacks with new EP's and only put them back when I have the compatable one. Thanks :)
