Since you can give skills to sims using the boolProp cheat I would assume you can give tricks to animals. The cheat is "boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true" make sure to set the cheat to false when done. I'm not sure if it will give you tricks, I'll test it later.

http://www.snootysims.com/cheatsindex.php?id=cheats No teaching cheats...but you can control the animals. Try hiring a pet trainer. Pets learn faster when taught by a trainer, a sim with high charisma, or a werewolf.

I use this object and i love it. I kow this can be done by the boolProp cheat, but this is so much easier.

Sorry for posting here, i'm not sure it's the correct sub-topic, but when i start to run sims2pets ep, when it gets to the part where the game should start loading it, an error pops right up.. a blank error, it doesn't say anything, it does the same with glamour life stuff.... what should i do? :(
i have enough space on my hard drive, tried removing the EA folder, it does it still, even on my dad's computer....
and it keeps telling me to insert the correct cd ...

LukaSoare, you should open your own thread. Otherwise this one will go offtopic.

 I just learned something! I didn't know there was a 'spawn' option for pet behav. But, is there one for teaching the pet tricks? I know the object does it...but is it there in the debug option? Too lazy to fire up the game...and since a power outage while playing yesterday, frankly I'm a little nervous. LOL I might be back with my own problems later.

This is simple. Use Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. Select a Sim other than the pet. Hold <shift> and click on a Sim. A menu will pop up. Select Spawn, and there's one in there for teaching pets tricks. I think it's called Learned Behaviors or something like that. A blue-green bird will be spawned. Select the pet, and click on the bird. You can not only teach them tricks, but you can train them to eat pet food, stay off beds, etc. with this object.

And Numenor's bird does the exact same thing, but without turning the testing cheats on and spawning the thing :)
