I started to play my game today and I went into the Sims State University to make some new students. Well I made my first student fine but when I went in to make another the head was completely black! Not the clothes or the hair, just the head. I tried closing the student maker and reopening it with the same results. So I decided I'd just play the students I had but their heads were all black to! I don't know what could be causing this, I've scanned my folders and everything looks fine. Please help! I'm really confused by this. :wtf:

I tried it but nothing changed. I even went through and took out everything I'd put in. This wasn't doing this two days ago. I added some custom content and suddenly it was doing it. I removed the custom content and it's still doing it. Is there anything I can do?

Did you take out ALL custom content (as that FAQ suggests) or just some/the new stuff? Make sure you do exactly as it says - you should take out ALL your user files, including your custom content, before deciding it's not user files/custom content.

A friend of mine is having a problem very similar to this and has tried replacing objects.package, taking out all the downloads... nothing seems to be working. The main difference is that he doesn't have University. Some more suggestions on what to do would be great...

Try taking out ALL user content - not just custom content - as the link I posted suggests.

Apparently he has completely reinstalled the game and there's no user content in it at all now and the problem is still happening.
EDIT: It sounds like the problem is ocurring after he adds all the stuff he downloaded to the game... but then when he takes it all out afterwards, the problem is still occurring. Why would it still be affecting the game even after he took them completely out of the downloads folder?

I had this exact problem, it was a faulty Skin replacement download, nut with words on the head instead of blackness. Try uing sim Clean installer, iscolate a skintone you might have downloaded then remove it. It worked for me!

A user PM'd me with a problem that sounds similar, and thinks it's related to my face template replacements. I'll have to have her try these suggestions...
