hi all

once again this is 2 seperate questions i figured would be better to put on one post instead of 2!!

1st question...

ive changed the picture taking settings in my game...but when i take pics the file still comes out pretty small! i think 600xsomething!!!

but ive seen so many really nice quality screen shots 800x600 if not bigger!!!

what do i need to do or get in order to take nice, clear, large ingame screen shots myself????

2nd question...

i dont exactly know how to describe this but ill try!!

when i stop moving the camera and watch a sim sometimes theres a weird and anoying problem with the screen!

ie: when my sim takes a shower often the sim and shower itself will flicker....and then horizontal transparent lines go threw both sim and object and i can see threw it!!!

its really ugly and makes it hard for taking pictures and stuff!!

hope someone can help please!

thanks very much!

First question: the ingame screenshots can't be bigger than 600x450. You need to use print screen to get bigger shots.

Second question: Do you mean the censor? That's normal, however there are ways to get rid of the censor. But this will show your sims the way God made them, nude!

ah wicked!!! thanks for the trick!!! i never knew what the print screen button was for before! -_-

and i have 2 screens and it actually took a screenshot of them both as if it was one long one!! ^_^

but as for my 2nd question...i dont mean the censor!!! i already have a censor patch!

let me try and explain again!!

imagine your sims in the shower...and there are 3 pixel tall black hortizontal lines all over the shower!!! but the lines arnt black...their transparent and i can see threw these lines to what is behind the sim and shower! :(

this hasnt happened to anyone?!?!?! it happens to me all the time! :( and not only when in the shower...even when sitting down to eat or go on the computer!!! its weird!

kinda like as if its an animation or camera problem!

What video card do you have? I've seen a similar graphical glitch with an older nVidia GeForce card.

In the future, please, use the edit button to add to your previous post instead of making several posts in a row :).

That sure looks like a graphics card problem. Have you got the most up to date drivers?
Also, can you post your "full" computer specs, This faq will help you find that info for us: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=112711

It could be the combination of a lower end graphics card and the CPU - Processor: AMD Duron(tm) , MMX, 3DNow, ~1.2GHz - it is not that much for the Sims 2 - I think around 2GHz would be advisable especially with that video card. Maybe someone knows more.
