Stop townie regenerate?

Ever since I installed seasons, my town makes new townies whenever one gets married or dies. My game never did that before and I was wondering how I can get it to stop making new townies. Or if there is a way I can get rid of ALL the townies. Thank you.

The game automatically regenerates townies and NPC's. Here's a splendid work around:

This requires starting a new hood.

For your current hood, try Pescado's notownieregeneration mod.

Thank you SO much. I have no idea why I didnt just look there in the first place. I thought there was just a cheat or something but that hack would be perfect. Thanks :)
