Creating a new university

I have built a new university (MONU - Middle Of Nowhere University - home of the Fighting Lug Nuts!). I have my dorms and my community lots. There are some things I want to add, but I am not sure how to do so.

1) I want to add my own student NPCs. How do I manage this? Can I build my own and have them, and not the regular Uni NPCs show up in my dorms?

2) My mascot is a lug nut. I have already made my custom jackets and shirts, but I would really like my secret society members to have a lug nut on their blazers instead of the llama. Is this possible? Also, can I change the llama and cow mascots to have my own "lug nut" man be the mascot that runs around annoying people? I'd also like to modify the cheerleader uniform. Any of this possible?

3) I have named some of the community lots after some of my sims. They are alumni of MONU, and currently live in my neighborhood. Is there anyway to have them pop up in the Uni lots, while living in the other neighborhood? Or would I be better off making a duplicate sim a NPC for the university?

For the second part of your question, yes it can, (and has) been done. Read through this thread: medieval NPC Uniforms (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=233388) and any questions about how to accomplish this should be directed to the appropriate forum. I linked you to the thread rather than just providing the links because there is some discussion about what they tried in addition to the links that you mind find useful.

For the last question... I'm not sure. I'll do some more poking around and in the interim maybe someone else will know off the top of their head. :)
