[MAC USER] Crashing Problem

Evy Time i try to load my game it crashes, i hvae no EP, ive tried evything, restart play, remove restart reinstall, remove shut down unplug let reat ovr night reinstall, but yet it always goes to the same point and quits, the first load screen w/ the bar up top nad the little squares tht, bcome u blurred as the bar fills up, always gets one or two moves away and auto quits, started yesterday, havent playe dsince wut do i do?? this is a fresh install w/ the patch no cc or EP!!!!!!!!! One more thing it runs on my sister computer and she has a computer identical to mine. NO CC. it doesnt crashes in the loading part, the first loading part, no neghborhoods ahve come up!!

Do you have any custom content? If so, remove your downloads folder & see if that helps.

I know you said it's a fresh install, but did you put your old neighborhoods back in? Maybe your neighborhood is corrupt.

Another thing to try it delete the cigen.package file in your sims folder.

i dont have any custum content @ all no back-ups its a clean new folder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as in remoove restart then reinstall.

i fixed it, i needed to delte the ea games folder, now its treating it like new. but wut u said helped, it helped me to find the ea game folder witch was the problem! its now fixed

That's great because I didn't mean to say cigen.package file! :alarm:
I meant the groups.cache file. Something to remember if your game goes funny sometime in the future.
