* What you were doing before the problem occurred: I was trying to put my custom content (several .package files) in my downloads folder but it didn't work. I put it into my objects folder and it worked, except for the mesh I wanted to use. So I put the mesh somewhere, I forgot, and came back to the game and the neighboorhood had completely changed and made into words instead of graphics.
* Exactly what is happening. Does the game crash when you click on a specific item (if so, what item)? It doesn't crash but I can't get to all of the houses and everything is just generally fucked.
* Pictures if Possible: click here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/aleiav/Picture7.png)
* How often the problem happens... Every time I log in now.
* What you have tried to fix it... I deleted all my custom content (there wasn't much, don't worry), still happening. I want to see if I can fix it before I reinstall.

I have a Mac as well, newest operating system below Leopard.

It sounds like you have corrupted the objects.package (http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Corrupted_Objects.package) file. Give that article a try and let us know how it goes or if you have any questions. And I don't believe you should be tinkering with that file at all. Downloads primarily go in your downloads folder. If you're having a problem getting custom content to show up (http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:GCCTSU) try that article first. It contains all the known methods to get your custom content showing up.

`Downloads should only ever be in Downloads or SavedSims (unless it's something like a camera hack). Exactly where did you put those files?
