Hi again!
So I have been having problems with my game. Missing neighborhoods, "Secret" Neighborhood "Pets," Maxis made neighborhoods such as Strangehood disappearing. So first I tried to delete the Documents/Ea Games/ Sims 2 Data. When I got back on everything was gone! Couldn’t make neighborhoods and kept on freezing up every time I pressed quit. Next up I deleted the whole game. Re-installed, and was up and running. Suddenly, it stopped working. I deleted everything and tried again. A while later I wouldn't work. I finally stopped trying. Now, two Months later, I feel like playing again. I deleted EVERYTHING and re-installed. After trying it AGAIN everything is gone! This time it was a little different though. When I quit it said, "The application Sims 2 has quit.” What am I doing wrong? Do I uninstall differently? I am extremely frustrated and don't know what to do this time.

PS: I like to download and sometimes have 2000 Items installed if that helps.

Delete:
EAGames Folder
plist - user/Libraray/Preferences/com.aspyr.TheSims2, com.aspyr.TheSims2BodyShop, com.aspyr.TheSims2Installer
HD/Library/Receipts/Sims2.pkg, University.pkg, Nightlife.pkg, Pets.pkg, Seasons.pkg, GLS_Installer.pkg, FFS_Installer.pkg, and I would assume a holiday one as well.

Before reinstalling you should also empty your trash of these files. When installing you should put this on your HD and not in applications. Some say it should be in a games folder on your HD, but I've had mine installed right to my HD since I got the game, which looks like it was installed in Dec of 2005! When my game goes wonky, I delete the plist, and the entire The Sims 2 folder and let the game re-create it. And I never just put my old one back in, I just take the contents of the folders (Downloads, SavedSims) and put into the folders the game just generated. To generate those two run bodyshop.

I now says the architecture isn't supported? What does this mean?
