Rotating floor tiles.

I'm sorry if this is a basic question but I can't find it covered in any tutorials.
Some fllor tiles like the quarter sun need to be rotated to make a whole sun but the hand tool doesn't pick up and rotate floor tiles so how is this done? thanks.

Use the "<" and ">" or period and comma keys to rotate the floor that's selected. :)
