Can't get info to show

I got a new computer so I installed Clean Installer. Now, when I try to install a package it's blank. There is no information on what I'm installing or check boxes to choose what I want to install. I uninstalled and reinstalled and I even tried clearing out my registry keys as instructed but it is not working.
