Lot Expander questions

I was wondering whether or not the lot expander can shrink lots? If so, is the lot expander the easiest way to do this?

My second question is, in the instance that I've successfully used the lot expander, can this lot be uploaded for other people to download? Would it work as well as a lot that hadn't been changed in size? Should I just start the house over on a smaller lot if I'm thinking of uploading it?

The generally released LE can expand lots only.

All shrunken lots are still presently regarded as risky lots that can lead to data corruption. So, it's advised o use them in a testing neighbourhood folder or testing custom folder. All users of such type of lots should be warned about these.

There's no way to trace which lot is shrunk yet, so it's highly suggested not to share shrunk lots unless that's for testing or other related causes.
If someone share such lots irresponsibly, lot download users will get their game in peril vulnerably.

Then, a sense of scare will raise.
That may result in plunge in lot-downloading.
That's simply because people can no longer trust lot-download when they can't distinguish which are OK and which aren't.

I personally haven't read if expanded lots have any problem but only certain shrunk lots.

Thanks, Niol! I'll just take some screen shots of my lot and start over with a smaller one. Shrinking lots sounds much too risky for this project. ;)
