I’m having serious problems with my Sims 2 game. I don’t know what’s going on and I have done everything that I know how to do to fix this problem. My game won’t display certain objects from the Seasons properly. The shape of the object is showing but there is no color just a little white box. I have never had any problems like this before. My game was fine a week ago but now I have this huge problem that I don’t know how to fix. I just installed some new downloads just before the game started having problems. I have however removed my whole downloads and (SavedSims) folder. I have even removed my whole neighbor’s folder. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game a couple of times and I have the Seasons, Pets, and OFB EPs.
Please help!

It sounds like you have a corrupt Seasons objects.package - reinstalling should have fixed it. Given that it hasn't, I'd suggest this FAQ: Game Help:Install

Try manually replacing the contents of Program files/ EA Games/ The sims 2 Seasons/ TS Data/ Res/ Objects and also TS Data/ Res/ 3D after you have cleaned the disc as the Wiki suggests.

I cleaned the disk as the Wiki site suggests and I also replaced the Object files and the 3D files. I ran the game one time after I replaced the files and everything was fine but when I ran it, again I had the same problem …. Does anyone else have any more suggestions?

Hmmm, that is odd. The objects.package shouldn't get corrupted for no obvious reason if it had been working. Were you using backed up user files? Did you install anything, delete anything?

Unfortunately, I didn’t back up anything and at this point, I think the best for me to do is to buy the game over. I’m starting to think that the disk was scratched beyond repair and I’m sure that it’s not my computer because none of the other EP’s or the original game is having this problem. Thanks for trying to help.

I wouldn't purchase anything just yet, as what you are saying points to a different problem. You say that you played the game after replacing the 3D files and the game ran okay... once. So this shows that there is nothing wrong with your disc as the files copied correctly. Then you ran the game once more and the corruption was there again... this gives two possibilities.
1) That the 3D files are becoming corrupted, or
2) That your game is somehow not loading the textures into memory correctly.
To test the first possibility, copy the 3D files again and then mark them all read-only status on your PC. Can you run the game more than once successfully now?
To test the second possibility, try the game with a clean Sims2 folder. It's possible that if you have a lot of custom content that your PC is running out of RAM (if you have XP, the 3Gb will not be utilised). Do you have any background tasks/ other processes running whilst the game loads?
