I know there is a thread in here with a title like this but since this is a different problem, and its my own problem, I wish to create a new thread.
So I just restarted my whole sims 2 game. I like started all over and everything, from scratch because there was a lot of stuff wrong with it before.
So now its's working good since I started over except one little problem...
I downloaded some custom eyes, but now if I try to have the sim have the defualt eyes in CAS when I click it it just looks like some custom eye. is it possible that one of the custom files overwritten the default eye files? How can I get the default eye back? Don't just tell me to read the FAQs, because I did. It told me to download the Download Organizer, which I did, and I deleted all the custom eye files. But for some reason the default Maxis eyes aren't showing up! :(

Dear squiggles1020,

Thank you for posting in the MTS2 Help section. In order to better solve your problem, please go through the following steps as listed below:

This is NOT multiple choice! You must read and go through ALL the FAQs!

General - Problem Custom Content
Your issue is related to conflicting, outdated, or badly made custom content. Please follow the Finding Problem Custom Content (http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Finding_Problem_Custom_Content) FAQ.

Please read through all of the FAQs above! Doing only one or two of them (when more exist) will usually result in delays not fixing your particular problem.

On occasion you might be asked to do a long FAQ - please make sure you do all the steps and don't just skip over them. You'll often find that these long FAQs have all the details you need. If nothing in the above FAQs fixes your problem you may post again detail exactly which you have done and which steps failed.

Regards,

I just said in my last post I did read the FAQ. It didn't help.

You definitely still have custom content in there that's a problem. I think DDO shows default replacements as "default". If that fails, use the 50% method as it says there.

If you did what was said in the article linked, you would have tested without custom content. Did you still have the problem when you tested with all custom content removed, or even a clean Sims 2 folder?
