I have a problem:
Always, when i have recoloured a hairstyle from XM-Sims and have binned it, it shows not right in bodyshop or in the game. The first one was for ages toddler to adult and the adult version wasnīt shown in CAS etc. But when iīve created a child or teen and made it into an adult, the sim had the hair! I only canīt choose it.
The second hair was only shown for toddlers and children and actually it was for adults too.
I hope you understand what i mean...
Does anybody know, how to fix it? Is this a binning mistake? But it was only with XM-Sims-hairstyles...
Please help... :(

I understand what you mean, I had this problem too, and I never resolved it.
Did you bin it with the Wardrobe Wrangler or simPE?

I had this problem with every hair I tried (though I was only doing one colour) which was an XM hair, a few melodie9 conversions, and a few maxis hairs.
I'm sure there's a way to fix it, but since mine was only one colour I thought, what's the point, and uploaded it unbinned :D

This may sound silly, but are you sure the files are in your downloads folder? Also, sometimes saving to your Saved Sims folder will make things show up as well.
If you have them in the right spot and you still cannot see them, are you sure you binned them correctly? How exactly did you bin them?

Does the unaltered, unrecolored XM Sim hair show up properly? For all ages, in the correct bins? If no, then the problem is probably with the hair, not your recolors or your binning. If yes, then I think the problem is probably a binning mistake.
Can you please tell us if you used Wardrobe Wrangler (http://www.djssims.com/index.php?category=1&subcat=5) or SimPE? If SimPE, try Wardrobe Wrangler instead. It might be faster and easier.
I do like your recolors, so I hope you won't give up on this project. ;)

Well, the thing with the downloads-folder actually doesnīt sound silly, i didnīt know that. Iīll try it now and then report you.
I binned with SimPe in this way: 00000001-0000-0000-0000-000000000000, you know and iīm sure that i made no mistake there.
But iīll try this Wardrobe Wrangler, whatever it is ;) , if itīs not working correctly from the DL-folder.
And the original hair shows up correctly in every...thing^^
I do like your recolors, so I hope you won't give up on this project. ;)
Thank you^^
Iīll report you soon...

If you want to use SimPE to bin, you can always use Theo's binning tool (http://theos.chewbakkas.net/tools/color-binning-tool.html). It's a plug-in that makes it a lot easier and doesn't end up overwriting the original hairs in case you mess up. There's also a tutorial on how to use it at the link I gave.
