Missing Resource Tree

I hope I'm posting in the right section! I've been following Numenors tutorial on recolouring an object and the lamp has 2 textures ie lit and unlit from the pics in the tutorial I should have a resource tree in the plugin view with these 2 textures listed - I'm assuming I choose one - recolour then choose the other and recolour however in my SimPE (latest version) I have no resource tree :cry:

Can someone tell me how to find it?

Extra/Preferences/SimPE Settings and click Reset Layout.
